Deja Vu

Here we are again. Working from home again with no end in sight (again). Some uplifting news - Charlotte is now Part 107 certified, aka she can fly a drone for commercial purposes! Next up, we’re both studying for our upcoming Architectural Registration Exam (ARE). Going to cafes every weekend to study and loading up on caffeine as seen above.

We’ve also volunteered our time at Kawainui Marsh to remove invasive species.

A lot of thought is put in to what the next step is and what’s down the line. What else can we do that moves us or something into a better position than where it was last? Or maybe the question is how can we improve ourselves to better help others? Like everything, it depends. For us, volunteering teaches us more about our surroundings and how we make an impact (intentional or unintentional) on the environment. By better understanding our surroundings, we can understand the relationship between our actions and the effect it may have now, or later. Rock climbing at Waimea, that’s what.
