Taking off
Ok we went on a trip and it was great. Never been to Europe and tickets were extremely cheap, also at off season. Paid about half the cost of a typical ticket.
Why now? There was the Architectural Biennale going on, which meant cool stuff other Architects around the world is being shown off at this one place all Architects look at for history lessons. It happens every other year, so why not now when tickets are cheap.
Overall the trip food made it totally worth it and the thing that really blew our minds was how cheap it is. A little over a euro for a cappuccino and another euro or so for a filled croissant. Quality was good, their milk was good. Other food places were good, too. It’s funny because every time we tried to eat somewhere fancy, it turned out mediocre. It’s when we weren’t trying is when the food turned out fantastic.
